# Copy and move assessment data

# Copy

This feature allows you to copy the question text to another assessment  once achieved the text can be edited to suit the timescales priorities and accountability in the area it has been copied to.   You might do this if you are wanting to share your text with a colleague who is working on another assessment.


# Move

This feature allows you to move the question text to another assessment (this will remove the question text from the source) once achieved the text can be edited to suit the timescales priorities and accountability in the area it has been moved to. You might do this if you have added text into the wrong assessment and wish to move it.  Or if you  are creating a new assessment and want to transfer the data.



# Follow these key steps to copying and moving  your data


1. Click Copy/Move

2. Select copy or move data and the questions data you want copied or moved

3. At the bottom of the page select choose columns.

4.  Choose the location you want to copy/move your data to and the columns then click copy or move.
