# Q.  - I am having issues uploading files into the library


If you encounter issues uploading files into the library, there are a few steps to troubleshoot:

| Ensure you have the correct permissions. Only participants, owners, and leads have upload privileges. If you have reader permissions, you'll need to contact your organisation's Administrator for the Mesma platform.

| Check the file size. Files larger than **150MB** may not upload reliably.

|  Verify the file type. Only **WORD, EXCEL, PDF, JPEG, PNG, PPT, MP4, EML, ODT, MOV, MSG **formats are supported. Files in other formats cannot be guaranteed.

| Excel documents with formulas (**xsl format**) cannot be uploaded. Please save the document as an Excel workbook and retry the upload.

| **Rich text** Word documents cannot be uploaded. Save them as Word documents or PDFs and retry the upload.
