Evaluative words
The newly introduced Evaluative Words Checker in Evaluate will assist you in ensuring that your Self Assessment narratives include more evaluative judgments and less descriptive content.
You can now review your text in the ‘What we do well’ and ‘Areas for improvement’ sections to determine if it incorporates evaluative language. Simply click on the 'Check Text' button after selecting edit.
We have curated a list of positive and negative evaluative words to aid you in this process.
Please note that this list is not exhaustive, and if you believe we should include additional words, kindly contact support@mesma.co.uk with your suggestions for inclusion in this checking feature.
