Managing your own templates in Develop

As an Administrator and provided you have purchased the subscription you can now create your own templates in Develop. Follow these steps:

Step 1 - Click on your Admin Controls





Step 2 - Click on Create Template





Step 3 - Import/Create a Template

Step 4 - Option 1 - Import a Mesma Template



Click import a Mesma template
A pop up box will appear which will list all the Mesma templates approved for your subscription.
Select the template you want to import by clicking on the import button.



Name your template and add a description.



If you have the subscription to allow you to create your own template you can now go ahead and make changes to suit your needs. The screenshot below highlights the edit features you have available to you.

A - Edit the question.
B - Edit the structure of the template. E.g. columns, column headings.
C - Add and remove question groups.
D - Add your own help and guidance.
E - Alter the column widths by dragging the columns and save grid settings.
F - Don't forget to save your changes.
G - Once saved, click the View All Templates button to see the template in your list.




Step 5 - Create your own a Mesma Template





A - Name your template.
B - Add a description for you template.
C - Add a question Group, ( a row will appear to add in your questions).
D - You can add in help and guidance to support your team
E - Grid settings allows you to add and name your column headings for your questions to suit your needs.
F - The data capture box allows you to collect additional information not related to the questions that need in your main grid. For example, you may want to label the activity by delivery centre, campus, type of programme, level of programme etc.

A - Add a row to drag and drop field types. (you can have one long row or add multiple rows).
B - Drag and drop the fields types into your row.
C - Click edit icon to rename and add in your options.
D - Click onto the field type name to rename.
E - Don't forget to save .
F - For drop down and pick list click on option name to add.

Drop down allows the user to select only one from the list, picklist allows the user to select multiple



Step 6 - Enabling your template for use.
