Q - What do I do if I think my data has been compromised?
In the event you believe there has been a breach in the security of information please contact us immediately by:
Emailing support@mesma.co.uk or sending a message via our online chat. To help us take prompt action could you please provide the following information and tell us:
- What occurred
- Date and time you identified the incident
- Who was involved or affected by the incident
Once received the incident will then be escalated to a Director who will initiate the information security incident process. The incident will be investigated, risk assessed and a report will be written outlining:
- what occurred
- any containment and recovery arrangements,
- why the incident occurred,
- overall response and future controls, and
- follow-up arrangements.
All incidents will be recorded on the Security Breach Register
