In this article you will learn about all the features available to you as an Participant or Reader. Working through each of the steps with help you understand how to complete your assessment. Evaluative words
The newly introduced Evaluative Words Checker in Evaluate will assist you in ensuring that your Self Assessment narratives include more evaluative judgments and less descriptive content. You can now review your text in the ‘What we do well’ and ‘Areas for improvement’ sections to determine if it incorporates evaluative language. Your assessments enable you to collaborate with colleagues to evaluate your organisation, department or programme against a set of quality indications downloaded from our template bank. The number of assessments is linked to your subscription so if you run out just ask your administrator to send us an upgrade request via their administration control panel. When completing your assessment you may want to link in additional evidence to support your judgements. You can begin to create your library of evidence for each individual assessment. There are a number of reasons you may wish to change the ownership of an area to another user. For instance when an owner changes roles or leaves the organisation. For Admin you can change ownership via the Estate page. Owners have the permission to change the Ownership at any point in time. Findings from your themed enquiries are now searchable through Evaluate. This allows you to utilise your data from previous enquiries to help you make a judgement in your assessment. The Dashboard is unique to each user, unless you have admin rights, the dashboard will only show data for the areas you have been invited into. Now you have been given access as an Owner to the assessment product you can start to create your area(s). Importing an assessment Step 1. Navigate to your Evaluate product and click on import/create. Step 2. A pop-up page will appear. You will see a selection of templates you have permission for. You can preview these before importing. You will soon become familiar with mesma icons and the features on your assessment homepage. Here is an explanation of all the features you can access via this page. Now that you have set up your assessment area, you may wish to invite people who will support in completing the assessment. it is advisable that you read through the description for each permission role and decide what role each person will have. From the landing page you can bulk export a basic word or excel download of all the assessments that you have been invited into. Your pop up will show a list of fields that you can choose to show in the download, click on the fields you wish to view. Duplicating your assessment Once you have developed the structure of a single template it is easy to duplicate this. This is useful if you have multiple assessments to complete for example, multiple departments or programme types. Copy This feature allows you to copy the question text to another assessment once achieved the text can be edited to suit the timescales priorities and accountability in the area it has been copied to. You might do this if you are wanting to share your text with a colleague who is working on another assessment. Adding a Group When importing your assessment template, you will be asked if you want to assign a group to your assessment. There may be times when you want a colleague to moderate or approve your assessment. To do this you will need to first invite moderators and or approvers to your assessment.
